Spring is coming. Everywhere blossoms and perfumes from another time. Green views that seem to melt into the deepest of the skies.

I’m in Piedmont. In this hilly gash in the north of Italy you can savor good food and good wine.

First stop is the treehouse. A window with a breathless view. Even with rain everything seems more beautiful, bucolic, romantic.

From the balcony you can admire the infinite landscapes while you listen to the relaxing sound of the raindrops on the rooftop.

The smell of nature watering after a long drought and the animals and plants waking up from a long sleep.

A colorful spot arises in the pale grayness of the day. The Brunate’s chapel, with its bright colors, from the intense blue to the vivid yellow, between the natural green of the vineyards.

A joyous moment for our eyes!

We move to the Monferrato, the region that give its prestige to the wines produced on its hills. The sky seems to be on the verge of a storm and soon the gentle rain becomes a heavy thunder. The landscape still seems to be coming from an old Monet.

After a few hours spent tasting wines, from the Barolo to the Barbera, we move to Bossolaco to see its famous roses.

The small town seems to be out from a fairytale. Everything around us is magical and relaxing even with the rain and the unexpected cold. A beautiful spot to visit in the incomparable beauty of Italy.
